Enjoy this that’s doing the rounds. Via my mate Matt. Maybe wouldn’t watch if you’re in the middle of your lunch (like I am).
Look here. Yes, the gorilla is in there. According to Altogether Digital, who by the look of a quick peek around their site know their stuff, are bloody good at what they do and can get a story high up on Digg to help increase their blog readership rather nicely. Altogether rather good. Wonder if we all agree?
Nice post over on the Bite blog (I work at Bite) right now talking about the genius that is Marc Ecko. He of “tagging Air Force One ” and now “buying a rather famous baseball and branding it with a *” fame.
There is one Tenori-On left at BM Soho. Call 0207 439 2403 and ask for Hilit if you want it. £60 deposit, £539.99 on collection. I’d emailed in to enquire about availability and Hilit kindly reserved me one. But I don’t have £600 to splurge right now on amazing looking music gadgetry. Go on. You know you want it!
Check out the official site here if you’re thinking WTF (or watch th video below).
I’ve added a link to my member page at Zopa in the sidebar over there to the right, who I’ve been working with here at Bite since about April last year (I think). If you click on it to go and check out Zopa, which I suggest you do if you are currently looking to borrow some money and indulge your passion for all things 2.0, and go on to lend over £500 then we both get £30. Nice touch and a great excuse to big-up Zopa.
As well as working with Zopa, I’m also an active Zopa member. I’m now on my second loan, having borrowed some money last year to help buy an extra special engagement ring (see the whole story here - note to self, remind Zopa to update this bit of the site) and some more money this year to help fund the wedding and sort out a new kitchen. (Not that the two are related . . . new wife/new kitchen . . . ha ha, evil laugh, not, promise.)
Also, there’s a nice little guide to lending up on the site now too. Check it out.
You could have some fun with this. Or alternatively it could just be an incredibly intrusive new way form of advertising. Remember when Gmail caused a storm with its contextual ads?
Greeted with some nice alarming copy this morning. Today is Peace Day by the way - look to the right . . . More on that shortly. Need your help guys.

The
emoticon is 25 years old. This was covered in the Metro this morning so feel a bit lame posting, but thought I’d use the opportunity to link to the Fallon Planner’s blog and explain why sometimes I’m known as Harvey Ball on the web. He’s the guy who drew the first smiley face as we know it (see the smile-based link?) and for some reason I took it upon myself to adopt his name for a lot of my creative output and web-based activity. So there you go. Something you didn’t know about me.
I’m not a Northern Rock customer, so just stumbled across this via TIGS. Nice move and also probably helps with being able to serve up the homepage to a rather higher than average number of site visitors (I imagine).
Nice to see what seems like a really genuine, honest message from the CEO. And nice to see a tweaked search result. Now where’s the Northern Rock blog? And why don’t they do a sponsored link like Tesco did in the midst of its petrol crisis?
Honest, open and transparent. HOT is the way to go as we all know.
