25 years of :-)’s

emoticon is 25 years old. This was covered in the Metro this morning so feel a bit lame posting, but thought I’d use the opportunity to link to the Fallon Planner’s blog and explain why sometimes I’m known as Harvey Ball on the web. He’s the guy who drew the first smiley face as we know it (see the smile-based link?) and for some reason I took it upon myself to adopt his name for a lot of my creative output and web-based activity. So there you go. Something you didn’t know about me.
Nice picture of mr. Ball on the Wikipedia entry there - wondering if he’s ever went to any Acid House raves back in the day.
hope so. I’d like to think he got to listen to Phuture too.
