In my school we use to have certificates sponsored by McDonalds and were rewarded with McDonald’s vouchers. (the school was very chavvy). this is only a big deal now because we are all getting health conscious (in the media at least), I’d hate to be a kid now be a bit shitty really

There’s just something very wrong indeed with it. Very wrong. Did you call your teachers by their first names?!

My 10-year-old’s near the top of his class, wins character awards and doesn’t miss school. He also can’t stand McDonald’s.

    Go figure.

Maybe this is a conspiracy between the government and McDonald’s to “dumb down” bright, socially-adept kids by giving them lousy food so their brains won’t develop properly and they’ll become a couch potato like so many others instead of becoming intelligent adults who won’t be so easily manipulated by commercial and government interests.

    Just a thought.
